The contactless system of ignition (fig. 7.20) includes devices:
– sensor distributor;
– transistor switchboard;
– ignition coil;
– additional resistance;
– emergency vibrator;
– spark plugs.

The device of the sensor distributor is shown in fig. 7.21.
The sensor distributor has the case, a cover, the roller, the sensor of sinusoidal tension, centrifugal and vacuum regulators, and also an octane proofreader. The centrifugal regulator automatically changes an ignition advancing corner depending on rotation frequency.
The sensor of tension consists of a rotor and the stator. The rotor represents a ring permanent magnet with the quadripolar holders which are densely pressed to it from above and from below rigidly fixed on the plug. In the top part of a rotor on the plug the runner is installed.
The stator of the sensor represents the winding concluded in quadripolar plates. The stator has the isolated multicore conclusion attached to a sensor conclusion. The second conclusion of a winding electrically is connected with the case in the assembled sensor distributor.
On a rotor the tag, on the shooter's stator which serve for installation of the initial moment of sparking is put.

The coil has a conclusion of high voltage and two conclusions of low voltage:
– a conclusion To – for connection with a conclusion To additional resistance;
– an unmarked conclusion – with a switchboard KZ conclusion.

Additional resistance (fig. 7.22)
The size of active resistance between conclusions "+" and "From" (0,71±0,05) Ohms, between conclusions "With" and "To" – (0,52±0,05) Ohms.

Transistor switchboard (fig. 7.22, 7.23)
Consists of the case and a payment with radioelements. Conclusions of the switchboard are intended:
– a conclusion D – for connection with a low-voltage conclusion of the sensor distributor;
– KZ conclusion – for connection with an ignition coil conclusion;
– a conclusion "+" – for connection with a conclusion "+" the additional resistance or the block of safety locks.

Emergency vibrator (fig. 7.22)
Consists of the case and a payment on which all knots of the vibrator are mounted. Has one conclusion. Its inclusion in work is allowed only in case of failure of the transistor switchboard or the coil of the stator of the sensor.

 Through 8 000 km
Check an inhaling of nuts of the low-voltage socket of the sensor distributor, fastening of connecting wires.
 Through 16 000 km
Check the ignition sensor distributor: examine the runner, a cover of the distributor and in case of their pollution wipe with the cotton fabric moistened in pure gasoline.
Grease the rotor plug from a dropper (4–5 drops) (previously remove the runner and фильц under it).
 Through 50 000 km
Carefully wash out pure gasoline the stator support ball-bearing, put in it Litol-24 lubricant no more than 2/3 free volumes of the bearing (previously uncover, the runner, a rotor and a support of the stator).

For prevention of superficial overlapping and a progar of a cover of the sensor distributor you watch that high-voltage wires with tips were sent in addition in cover nests against the stop. It is impossible to include ignition in the presence of moisture on a cover. You watch purity of plastic details (a cover, the runner, a low-voltage conclusion etc.).

Order of installation of the moment of ignition
1. Install the piston of the first cylinder in the top dead point of a step of compression in the first cylinder before coincidence of an opening of MZ (5 ° to VMT) on a pulley of a bent shaft with a pin on a cover of distributive gear wheels.
2. Remove a plastic cover from the sensor distributor. Make sure that the electrode of the runner was established against a conclusion on a cover of the sensor distributor marked with figure "1" (a conclusion for a wire of ignition of a candle of the first cylinder of the engine).
3. Tighten a bolt with the index inserted into it a plate a sensor distributor octane proofreader to the drive case so that the index coincided with average division of a scale an octane proofreader.
4. Weaken a bolt of fastening of a plate an octane proofreader to the sensor distributor case.
5. Holding with a finger the runner against its rotation (for elimination of gaps in the drive), carefully turn the case before combination to one line of a red tag on a rotor and petal edges on the stator. Fix by a bolt a plate an octane proofreader on the sensor distributor case.
6. Establish a sensor distributor cover, check correctness of installation of wires of ignition to candles according to an operating procedure of cylinders of the engine 1-2-4-3, considering counterclockwise.
After each installation of ignition check the accuracy of installation of the moment of ignition, listening to operation of the engine at the movement of the car.
For this purpose warm up the engine up to the temperature of 80 °C and, moving on direct transfer on the flat road with a speed of 40 km/h, give to the car dispersal, having sharply pressed a pedal of the drive of a butterfly valve. If the insignificant short-term detonation to the speed of 55-60 km/h is observed at the same time, then installation of the moment of ignition is made correctly.

At a strong detonation turn the case of the sensor distributor (fig. 7.24) on a scale an octane proofreader on 0,5–1,0 division counterclockwise. Each division of a scale corresponds to change of the moment of ignition on 4 °, considering on a bent shaft. At total absence of a detonation it is necessary to increase an ignition advancing corner turn of the case of the sensor distributor clockwise.
